Fighting for a Future Free from Child Trafficking
At Prevent Child Trafficking Nevada, we’re dedicated to preventing the sale of our children by educating the community on what to look for and what to do and on educating young people on the tricks of traffickers. We empower the most vulnerable youth by providing healthy connection, new clothing and anti-trafficking information through our NEVADA CARES BOUTIQUE, through which we give dignity and self-respect. Stakeholders in the fight against child trafficking will come together to form a statewide coalition to protect our children.

Being Controlled
Young people with someone who seems to be controlling them. For example holding their ID, money or phone or who speaks for them or orders them around.
Avoidant Or Withdrawn
Young People who avoid eye contact or who seem afraid, paranoid, or mentally shutdown.
Signs of abuse
Young people who have bruises, cuts, broken bones or who appear exhausted, malnourished or who have bad hygiene.
Unaware of surroundings or situation
Young people unaware of their surroundings, unable to explain who they’re with, or sharing unrealistic plans may be at risk.

Empowering Youth Against Trafficking
Anti-trafficking education for grades 5–12 teaches healthy relationships and self-protection. A peer-to-peer mentoring model reduces risks like bullying, depression, and trafficking.
